Kindergarten Orientation

I would like to welcome all the parents and children to today's Kindergarten Orientation.
We will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the computer lab together.  Then the children will come with me to the classroom to get a taste of what Kindergarten is like while the parents remain in the computer lab to hear some special presentations.  There will be a time for questions at the end, so please write them down as the day goes.

Only 13 more days!

There are only 13 more days of Kindergarten!  They will be jam packed and super busy.
Home reading needs to come back to school every day because the students read their stories to partners and myself during our ELA time.
Bike Rodeo notes need to come back this week so that we can be prepared for the Bike Rodeo on May 16th.

Whoever completes the bicycle inspection form and sends it back to school by the Bike Rodeo will be entered into a draw to win a watermelon bike helmet.  Bikes that come to the bike rodeo must be safe to participate (ie. if you check "repair brakes," brakes must be repaired before the Bike Rodeo.)

May 22nd is our dental health presentation.  Today we started brushing our teeth after snack.  On Friday, the class will take home their toothbrushes and toothpaste.
